Via Margutta is a small street near the Spanish Steps famous for it’s art galleries, artist’s workshops and a yearly exhibition called 100 Painters of Via Margutta.
Casa degli Artisti is inspired by its location. The white-washed walls and use of white floor tiles create a ‘canvas’ for the interior decor that is modern and, at times, classical (ie. the use of marble in the kitchen and bathroom).
Space organisation isn’t particularly logical, but it rarely is in old buildings. Casa degli Artisti doesn’t have a bedroom – 2 people can sleep on the sofa-bed in the lounge. The kitchen / dining area is generous in size (and a good place to work) and there are two bathrooms.
We think this apartment is a good choice for a couple who want to experience the particular vibe of Via Margutta and the comfort of what is effectively a very big studio apartment.
If more than 2 people travelling and you want to stay in the same area have a look at Apartment Margutta 120 too.
