Berlusconi fields hot candidates for June’s European elections
Why candidate old, fat, ugly politicians when the likes of Barbara Matera and Camilla Ferranti are keen to represent Italy in Europe?
However, Mr. Berlusconi’s wife (Veronica Lario – a former actress) wasn’t amused. She branded the whole thing as a ‘shameless’ election stunt.
This isn’t the case, absolutely. The truth is… two-fold:
- Berlusconi has the “mental and sexual activity of a 50-year-old” and is “almost immortal”, as his doctor, Umberto Scapagnini, explained in 2004. Veronica is obviously jealous of this.
- The candidates in question are, in fact, qualified for the job. Don’t let their background and appearance distract you from their great minds, judgement and… assets.

Barbara Matera is the most talented and gorgeous of them all so not surprising she made the cut. Lucky Silvio – I guess he will be making frequent trips to Brussels to guide his sexy new representative which will involve him staying over with her for several days (and nights !) That man is a stallion – I love the bit about having the sexual and mental activity of a 50-year old !! Barbara is in for a torrid time in bed with this aging stud. My prediction is that he will take Barbara as his lover (if he hasn’t already) and then as his wife once the divorce with Veronica is through………….

Italy is certainly a colorful country, but Berlusconi is a dangerous character. We got rid of Bush and Italy must follow suit and flush out the rotten from its system. However, and this is the big challenge, the rotten is widespread.
I wonder whether a strong, charismatic and disciplined leader (who isn’t a crook) is what Italy needs?
