You’re right, all out apartment profiles have gone and we’re not accepting bookings via this site.
Our eagled-eyed readers will have noticed that the co. bit in our name has evolved into… Consultancy.
We’ve tidied up the interface a bit too, but the main point of the exercise was to evolve this site into a place where you can find good, unbiased advice about visiting Rome, vacation rentals and experiencing the city more like a local. The latter remains our theme throughout what we do.
We have teamed up with Passeggiate Romane Cultural Association to feature some interesting walking tours. And we will be partnering up with other organisations like them.
The apartments section hasn’t been completely removed but now points to our sister site City Apartments Rome. There you will find the apartments that were listed on this site — many of them in the Luxury Apartments section.

Planning a trip to Rome and are concerned about the well-being of your Pet Society pet? Don't worry, our apartments are Pet Society friendly.
Please note that we’re not talking about old fashioned pets in flesh, blood and… fur. The question people are asking themselves is what will happen to their virtual pet they tend to with love, affection and perhaps a little bit too much much time on Facebook’s Pet Society.
Don’t know what Pet Society is?
Maybe it’s for the best. In a nutshell, it’s as digital pet that you need to feed, clothe, wash and entertain. The more you do the more gold coins you earn to… do more of the same. Pets have made on to the property ladder and own houses that they can furnish as they please. Still confused? Have a look at this YouTube clip. Better still, give it a go.

This was the first time away from Pet Society and into the real world. I loved Apartment Paradiso… it was so charming! But I did miss my soap bar and the Mystery Boxes I’m addicted to. But I must admit that shopping in Rome is great… I got a good exchange rate for my gold coins

Sorting out your internet access
City Apartments prefer to work with apartment owners that offer broadband connections in their properties. When this is not the case we can let you know where there closest internet cafe. Just let us know when you book your apartment. We wouldn’t want you to miss your pet too much (and we know that if you don’t wash them frequently enough they start to smell).
Announcing a new category for our blog to showcase photos that celebrate the... mundane.
Inspiration for this has come from sites such as RomePhotoBlog and eternallycool.net as much as the stuff we see around us every day.
The idea is to showcase the beautiful and interesting things that can be found away from the famous landmarks: a celebration of the mundane.
We will feature our own photos, those of our contributors as well as anyone who wishes to share their work on this site. We’ll say a few words with every photo we publish just to give images some context beyond what can be seen.
Goes without saying that we will not publish the work of people without their consent — please don’t do the same.

For the record, this site is owned and operated by travgo a new brand for an established business in the vacation rentals sector. Our main site – www.cityapartments.it – has been going up and running since 2002. Read up about who we are on our About us page.
If you book one of our apartments and go see the movie we'll reimburse you 5% of the cost of your accommodation. That will cover your cinema ticket and popcorn costs too.
Angels & Demons promises to be a movie to remember, especially if you’re a fan of Rome as much as of Tom Hanks (and controversial murder-mystery movies featuring underground organisations and religious organisations).
The plot thickens… get 5% off if you go see the movie
Here’s the deal. If you go see the movie whilst staying in one of our apartments we’ll give you a 5% discount. That’s off the total booking price for the apartment, not the cinema ticket! All you have to do is keep the ticket stubs and send them to us.
If that’s not a good reason to book a holiday in Rome then we don’t know what is!
Conditions apply, of course:
- You need to be staying in one of our apartments
- Only 1 discount per booking. This means that if four of you go to see the movie you’re not going to get a 20% discount (nice try!)
- Offer starts on 13 May and ends 31 August ’09
- We can only reimburse your credit card or send you a payment via PayPal.
About Angels & Demons (and yes, you can see it in English too)

We’re in the business of selling a different experience of Rome that is more like how locals live. We’re saying… “if you’re visting Rome why not stay in an apartment rather than a hotel? You’ll be more comfortable and enjoy the city like Romans do”.
So we’ve a whole section dedicated to the Rome Experience where we publish articles about places, shops, restaurants, bars, etc… that are not usually included in guidebooks and blogged about.
